4. Not Authorized to Perform Data Mining
You are not authorized — without the prior written permission of The Mind Society — to use any computer code, data mining software, "robot," "bot," "spider," "scraper," or other automatic device, program, algorithm, or methodology having similar processes or functionality, or any manual process, to monitor or copy any of the web pages, data, or content found on or accessed through this Website. You may not engage in the mass downloading of files; use the computer processing power of this Website for purposes other than those permitted above; flood this site with electronic traffic designed to slow or stop its operation; or establish links to or from other websites in a manner that disparages or misrepresents The Mind Society.
5. Not Authorized to Use This Website for Commercial Purposes
Users are not authorized to sell, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, publicly perform, report, or otherwise prepare derivative or second-hand works based on any Mind Society material in any way for any public or commercial purpose. Specifically, you are not authorized to (i) resell or make commercial use of this site or its contents, or (ii) create, reproduce, and/or distribute any materials derived from the content provided on this Website. Mind Society material may not be displayed or communicated on any other website and/or app, in a networked computer environment, or other digital support for any purpose whatsoever.
In the event of breach of any of these Terms and Conditions, your permission to use Mind Society material will automatically terminate, and any copies made of Mind Society material must be immediately destroyed. Any unauthorized use of Mind Society material may violate state and federal criminal laws, infringe copyright laws, trademark laws, the laws of privacy or publicity, and communication regulations and statutes.
6. Donations
All donations are processed by our third-party payment processor and are subject to that processor's terms and privacy policy. Donations to The Mind Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Donations are generally non-refundable; if you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us promptly and we will work with you in good faith.
7. Third-Party Links and Services
The Website may contain links to third-party websites and services that are not owned or controlled by The Mind Society. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that The Mind Society shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.
